MyGo Tours Drivers
After retiring from a 25 year career of wedding and portrait photography in Duncan, Phil thought driving limos would be fun. They were fun and he worked five years in the limo business in the Cowichan Valley.
Phil decided in 2018 that he wanted to purchase his own tour bus … so he did.
Under the name of MyGo Tours and Transportation, Phil began touring with groups of people to the Cowichan wineries. He added wedding transportation and general group transportation to his business and has been busy ever since.
In 2022 Phil acquired Cheers Cowichan and added a second bus to his fleet. It’s a busy business, but Phil loves it.
Phil looks younger in this picture than in real life.
Sarah grew up on Vancouver Island and returned after 7 cold winters in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Sarah thinks the Cowichan Valley is truly the most beautiful place she has lived and loves to show it off. On school days Sarah is a teacher. She learned to drive a bus in 2012 so that she could chaperone students on adventures. In 2017, Sarah started driving for Cheers in the summer and continues to drive with MyGo Tours when not teaching.

Diego travels with his owner, Phil Walmsley. Found in a field in Mexico, his playful, cuddly manner worked his way into Phil and his wife, Ruby’s hearts. He travels with them everywhere they go including wintering in Mexico. Diego communicates in Spanish and English.
Now 7 years old he likes to get on the bus and cuddle with whomever wants a cuddle. If you would like Diego to accompany you on your tour, just ask Phil, otherwise Diego is content to stay home curled up on his chair on the balcony of the house watching the traffic go by.
